Long Eaton Sofas® is a specialist bespoke upholstery manufacturer based in Long Eaton, an East Midlands town with a long history in furniture making and a worldwide reputation for manufacturing some of the best sofas and chairs money can buy.
We are proud of our highly skilled workforce, with some having served the company for over 30 years and some since the day the company started. They put their heart and soul into every piece of furniture they make and once completed, each sofa, chair, or footstool is proudly signed by the upholsterer who made it.

Direct factory prices
The majority of upholstered furniture sold in Britain is sold by high street retailers and out of town stores. The vast majority is imported from low wage economies, so the retailer can apply an extremely large mark up to make a tidy profit. In most cases, the retailer will only be paying the original manufacturer a third to 40% of the price they charge the buying public. Therefore, the manufacturer may only receive £499 if the retailer is selling the sofa at £1,499.
By buying direct from Long Eaton Sofas®, you can get a very high quality sofa from £1,349, which a retailer would want to sell to you for anything between £2,699 and £3,399. Usually customers visiting our showroom soon appreciate the quality and value they can get by buying from us, rather than a retailer.

Re-covering an existing sofa with new fabric not only transforms the look and functionality of the piece it is also better for the environment to recycle furniture, rather than send it to landfill.
