How to work out left or right hand corner sofa
At Long Eaton Sofas, we describe our corner sofas direction as you are stood in front of it. This means if you were to stand in front of a corner sofa and the corner was on your left this is a Left Hand Facing corner sofa and if the corner is on the right, this is a Right Hand Facing corner sofa. With all our bespoke corner sofas we provide you with a line drawing, which is also given to the factory to ensure your corner sofa is manufactured exactly as you want it.
How to measure up for a corner sofa
When working out if a corner sofa will work in your home we advise measuring the overall space you would like the sofa to fit. Please ensure you take in to account skirting boards, radiators and doors to ensure when it is manufactured it fits where you want it to be placed.
How to choose a corner sofa
Choosing a corner sofa can be a confusing process. If you like the look of a corner sofa but have a small space, choosing a sofa style with narrower arms will give you the maximum amount of seating space. (The Columbia, Lennon & Kentucky are good ranges to consider if this is the case)
Does a corner sofa save space?
If you have a smaller sized room a corner sofa can save space as it means you can have all your seating in one area, which then frees up space for other pieces of furniture for the room.
