Buying a Corner Sofa

At Long Eaton Sofas, we do not limit you to set sizes so you have to make do with a corner sofa that doesn't fit exactly where you want it. We manufacture our own solid hardwood frames, meaning we will produce your perfect corner sofa to fit your room exactly as you want it to.

Choosing a corner sofa can be a confusing process. If you like the look of a corner sofa but have a small space, choosing a sofa style with narrower arms will give you the maximum amount of seating space. (The Columbia, Lennon & Kentucky are good ranges to consider if this is the case) 

More recently they are being used as a room divide and this is most common in modern kitchen, dining and family room environments. When doing this you want to have a nice low back so it does the job of separating the designated areas but it does not block out the lovely space you now have. 

At Long Eaton Sofas, we describe our corner sofas direction as you are stood in front of it. This means if you were to stand in front of a corner sofa and the corner was on your left this is a Left Hand Facing corner sofa and if the corner is on the right, this is a Right Hand Facing corner sofa. With all our bespoke corner sofas we provide you with a line drawing, which is also given to the factory to ensure your corner sofa is manufactured exactly as you want it.

Quite often living rooms will have 2 sofas or a sofa and chair combination. This can mean there is a space left in your room where the sofas or chair meet. With a corner sofa you can use this otherwise dead space to create an extra seat space.

A family can all sit together on a corner sofa when enjoying their favourite film or sport on tv.

At Long Eaton Sofas, we are able to manufacture the majority of our ranges as corner sofas. This means they will all have matching Snugglers & Chairs to compliment a corner sofa.
